U1D-LEVEL sight gauges designed by an American cornany are now available here through Vactric Control ■ ment Ltd,. the U.K.. Commonwealth and European ces. Named Tedeco "See-Level gauges. they can be used ow the level of fluid in gearboxes, sumps or other ssurized containers—both during use (so that any reduen level can be noted) and during refilling Ito check the level required). The gauges are made from aluminium —clear plastics glass is used and there is a bright reflector behind the glass so that the fluid level can be seen easily, in poor light.

Rubber grips are fitted to the truck's handles for safety purposes. This compact unit, which is finished in bright yellow, can be carried in freight wagons, vans or aircraft.

Rustproofing Spray THE new aerosol rustproofer from Holt Products Ltd., called Weather Seal, is claimed to be fully: effective even when sprayed on to wet or dirty metal. This product contains a high-penetrative de-watering agent said to be capable of penetrating dirt to seal direct on to the metal, forming an impervious film which completely excludes air and moisture. A special anti-corrosion component is incorporated, which is permanently. keyed to the metal by electro-chemical forces.

The makers state that Weather Seal dries quickly to a tough, flexible. wax-like coating, strongly resistant to abrasion by road stones and so on—and if the coating should be temporarily broken Weather Seal remains permanently flexible and flows back over the exposed area to re-form the seal.

This product, which is of a pale straw colour, is claimed to be completely harmless to paints, rubber, plastics, aluminium and plating. The makers say that the entire undcrbody of a small vehicle can be treated in as little as half an hour.

Air-powered Drill AN air-powered drill, specially designed for use in garages and workshops. can now he obtained from the IngersollRand Co. Ltd. This I-R D90 drill is only 7 in. long and weighs no more than 2 lb. Free speed is 2.100 r.p.m.--and the tool is claimed to deliver more power, at a more economical rate of air consumption, than any comparable tool.

The drill features a fingertip speed control in the throttle valve control trigger: this controls speed smoothly and positively up to maximum r.p.m. The throttle valve also has a two-stage control, giving slow speeds for starting. then full power for the actual work, An oil reservoir is incorporated. which the makers state gives foolproof lubrication. The unit also features an adjustable exhaust deflector and silencer.

Two-wheeled Tanker ATWO-WHEELED tanker with a capacity of 300 gal., designed for industrial and agricultural use, has recently been introduced by Taskers of Andover (1932) Ltd. The cylindrical tank has a diameter of 3 ft. 9 in.. and is 4 ft. 6 in. long.

It is made ot in. 'mild-steel sheet and is lined with plastics material to withstand up to 50 per cent acid concentrations. The tank is fitted with a 1-ft. 6-in.-dia. manhole cover, draw off and sludge drain: adjustable steady legs are fitted to both front and rear to stabilize the tanker when detached from its towing unit.
