HONDA (UK) LTD is planning recall of Honda Acty TN van: and pickups due to suspectec possible steering or electrica faults.
The vehicles involved have thE 545cc water-cooled engine anc were produced between Jul) 1977 and October 1979. Abou 5,000 have been sold in this country. The possible steerinç fault is that the nut locating thE steering pinion yoke may be come loose, though there havE been no cases of this in the UK.
A small number of vehicles have suffered from the electrical fault, which is a short-circuit due to a wiring harness chafing.
