PLANS to develop Singapore as a container port have resulted in Highway Trailers (GB) Ltd., Southampton, receiving an initial order for 10 container carrying draw-bar trailers of 25-ton capacity to be delivered in c.k.d. form. The trailers will be used mainly on dockside work, The order has been placed by Edgar (Singapore) Ltd. under a contract awarded by the Port of Singapore Authority.
