Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

There is one minor inaccuracy; this, I believe, occurred due to pressure on space, which must be particularly heavy at the moment. You will remember that we gave considerable credit to the Varivane automatic radiator blind for our work on temperature control. An abbreviated paragraph, as published on October 18, implied that a blanking plate and Varivane were fitted to the same vehicle. This is, of course, not the case. We have used a blanking plate: the Varivane is an alternative fitting.

In passing, may I pay a warm tribute to the assistance given to me in connection with this series by my works superintendent, Roy Cotterill.

Stockton-on-Tees. W. C. WILSON, General Manager and Engineer, Stockton Corporation Transport Department.
