NEwprices for Bedford vehicles came into force on November 11

and are published below. Vauxhall Motors, Ltd., had hoped to avoid increasing prices by raising production. but the Government's reduction in the allocation of sheet steel to motor manufacturers has robbed the company of any chance to expand output in 1947. Rising costs have more than offset economies achieved by greater efficiency in production.

The prices quoted include spare wheel and tyre, and are for primer finish, except where otherwise stated. Coachbuilders have also been forced to increase their prices and their new charges are included in the list below.
