Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TWO new models have been added to the range of producer-gas plant niade by British Vehicle Producer Gas, Ltd., 120, Pall Mall, London, S.W.1. One is designedexpressIy for fight goods vehicles of 5 to 30 cwt., and the other for private cars. This innovation will undoubtedly appeal to a large number of operators of small delivery vans, and the price should constitute no obstacle as the model L (for commercial vehicles) is offered at only £89 10s.

The maker states that the development of these two new units has been made possible by the recent introduction of the B.V.P. patented " Vacurnatic turbulent fluid scrubber," which is an integral part and enables thorough gas purification to be accomplished with apparatus of notably moderate dimensions. All the main features of the heavier plants are incorporated on a smaller scale, but the design and general layout have been evolved with a view to facilitating maintenance, and simplifying control, whilst maintaining efficiency of operation.

An idea of the space occupied by the plant canbe formed from the following facts: The producer measures 3 ft. 8 ins. high by 1 It. diameter, and weighs complete 56 lb., whilst having a capacity for 160 lb. of anthracite; the dust box is 4 ft. by 8 ins. by 3 ins. and scales 20 lb.; a water tank is provided of which the dimensions are 2 ft by 1 ft. 1 in., by 10 ins., the weight* is 20 lb. and the capacity is 11 gallons; and a space of 3 ft. 6 ins. by 9 ins, is occupied by the scrubber, which weighs 41 lb.

In addition to these items there are piping, equipment, etc., which bring the total weight up to about 11 cwt., uncharged, whilst the apparatus, when in use, turns the scale at 3h cwt.
