Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

By Chris Tinciatt 111 11111 CAMBRIDGESHIRE refrigerated operator Savage Haulage has expanded its business and saved the jobs at another East Anglian haulage business after it bought up the assets of Full Circle Freight.

And joint MD Martin Savage says it is still in the market for further acquisitions, just one month after snapping up the Suffolk-based temperaturecontrolled business that had fallen into receivership due to spiralling fuel costs.

Savage says it made just one redundancy after taking on Full Circle Freight's assets on 10 April, but that was due to a replication of job roles at the March company.

He says: "It had a reasonable turnover, we were looking to expand and we put in an offer. We got it at a good price.

"It takes us another step ahead, and gives us new customers as well; we're getting our foot into other doors. 1 suppose we have just got to make sure we are not doing any dead miles."

Savage Haulage, which bought March Cold Stores in 2005, took on 11 trailers as well as an 18-tonne and 7.5-tonne vehicle. The rest were rented, but it has now placed an order for 15 new Dafs to complement the purchase.

The acquisition price was undisclosed.
