There has been some speculation as to the continued production of this unit, but I have been assured by the company that it has every intention to carry on its manufacture for at least five years and probably longer.
The TI_11 was developed from the 680/690 range of engines but the design of its monobloc structure has been improved so that the cylinder head clamping stresses are evenly distributed, thus ensuring longer gasket life.
