Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

OLAUSE 6 (3) of the 1947 Act, which provided that there should be a Transport Users' Consultative Committee for both passenger and goods traffic in Wales, is amended so as to include Monmouthshire within its scope [S. 29 (1)1. In future, copies of the minutes and recommendations or conclusions of the Consultative Committee for Scotland and of that for Wales and Monmouthshire arc to be sent to the Minister, as well as to the Commission and the Central ransport Consultative Committee. The Minister may, on receiving copies of these recommendations, give such

directions to .the Commission as he thinks fit [S. 29 (2)]. [Formerly, such directions could be given by the Minister only with respect to recommendations made by the Central Transport Consultative Committee.]

The Minister is to appoint such persons as he thinks fit, after consultation with any body or bodies which he thinks representative of the road haulage industry, to sit on the Coastal Shipping Advisory Committee [S. 301.
