Commercial Motor is proud to present an exclusive preview of the latest product from the Spagthorpe Motor Company: the Spagthorpe Tripehound. Developed to meet rising demand for on-site catering at the (unofficial) whippet races held every Saturday afternoon at the legendary Ironworks, the Tripehound incorporates the same chicken/methane fuel system that was developed for the Spagthorpe Cockerel (CM March).

Pictured during service trials is Spagthorpe catering manager Neville "Black Pudden" Gigglesthwaite who revealed the design philosophy behind SMC's latest venture: "Sir Jos was getting fed up wi all the chickens running round Crnethane fuel plant so he called me in and said 'Right then Black Pudden, wring their bloody necks. cook 'ern up and serve 'em to the lads.'''

FLASH: The legendary Ironworks was brought to a halt last week by a mysterious outbreak of food poisoning. Former catering manager Neville Gigglesthwaite was unavailable for comment.
