DRIVERS have been urged to boycott Greater Manchester's Barton Bridge on the M63 for up to three years.
Roads Minister Peter Bottom Icy says they should try to keep away from Britain's biggest roadworks while the £21) million project to widen the two-lane stretch to three lanes takes place.
From April 27 to June 15 the motorway will be single-lane in each direction.
