YORKSHIRE Electricit Board's new fleet of Bedfoi 7.5 tonne delivery vehicle re-equipped with Abel d mountable body equipmen is speeding vehicle turnrour and raising productivity.
Four YEB depots no serve an area previously sui ported by seven locatiot with fixed bodied vehicles.
Later this year the Boat plans to go further by usir Abel's pneumatically lift( demountable equipment conjunction with 1 8 drawbar combinations wit demountable bodies.
The same 4.87m box( now carried solo on the rig: TL750 chassis will be trunk( in threes. One body will I carried on the drawing chass and the other two on matched lOrn skeletal trailer.
Abel's body lifting an single action demount is ju as well suited to the carryin of two as a single body on trailer.
YEB will eventually have pool of 72 bodies, workin with 33 Bedford chassis, eat equipped with fold-away Ra cliff-tantilever tail lifts.
