Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Murex Welding Product's Zodian Super and Ferex Super manual metal arc-welding electrodes are now available in an extended range of diameters.

The Zodian Super (rutile) electrode is said to provide good arc control during vertical down welding and produce far less slag than other similar electrodes. Diameters now range from 2.5mm to 5mm.

Ferex Super (basic) is a high toughness, low hydrogen electrode providing excellent weldability in high integrity applications. It offers good root welding characteristics on mild and low alloy steels and is available in diameters of 2.5mm to 6mm.

Zodian Super electrodes cost 01.51 for 210 x 5mm, Ferex Super is £65.37 for 132 x 6mm. For further details write No 90 on the reader reply card.
