• Remould tyre manufacturer Bandvulc has invested heavily in major new equipment at its Ivybridge factory.
Three new presses, each costing £25,000, have been added for the manufacture of bead-to-bead commercial vehicle remoulds, together with L30,000.worth of ultrasonic testing equipment.
Total investment tops £100,000 and is sure to help the company meet its 1995 production target of 3,000 tyres a week.
