Known as type FLS6 the unit is strongly constructed and is said to give reliable lighting in the most adverse weather condition& The FLS6 is powered by a Nife allsteel battery which is contained in a heavy-gauge, welded, steel box. This has a hinged lid incorporating a carrying handle.

The light unit gives a powerful wideangle illumination and is carried on an adjustable standard which allows it to be used at heights

up to 5 ft. 6 in. and swivelled in any direction. When not in use, the jointed standard and iiant unit can be dismantled to fit into the box.
