"THERE are a great many firms who are sending their goods by road in their own C-licence lorries and who would be better advised in their own interests to send them by rail," Sir Brian Robertson, chairman of the British Transport Commission, told members of the Tees-side and South-West Durham Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday.
