attended the 3rd World Petroleum Congress held at Scheveningen, Holland, from May 28 to June 6. Delegates from 41 countries studied 300 papers and these, together with the discussions and general lectures, will go to make a report which will call for 4,000 pages.
CONSIDERABLE attention was given to road transport, which represents the oil industry's best customer. Such subjects as new trends in engine design, lubrication. compression ratios and roads were discussed.
