steve.bobsonCdrbi.co.uk UNITED BISCUITS Logistics and DPD were the two big winners of the 24th annual Motor Transport Awards at London's Grosvenor House Hotel on Tuesday night (13 July).

DPD scooped the Best Use of Technology. Innovation and Fleet Van Operator of the Year awards for the introduction of Predict, an integrated customer alert and route optimisation system that has allowed DPD to offer customers one-hour delivery windows while reducing vehicle mileage.

United Biscuits Logistics picked up the Environment. Low Carbon & Efficiency and Own account Operator awards.
