Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

STAN ROBINSON has opened a Designated Premises (DP) on its site in Seighford, Stafford, offering full HGV (and public Service vehicles) annual tests, re-tests and P09 clearances.

The purpose-built testing facility also has facilities for: brake and lights checks; tachograph checks and recalibrations; emissions testing and weight testing for rigids, curtainsiders and flats.

Centre manager Paul Glover tells CM "Stan has spent £250,000 building this facility and we started testing earlier this month.

"Working with the government has been a nightmare, getting everything up to its standards, but we are now accredited and will work with VOSA to test the vehicles." Robinson told CM earlier this year (CM 18 February) that he was investing in the facility because he believes his local VOSA test station in Stoke-on-Trent could close in the next three years. It is one of the 10 test stations that will lose a lane under VOSA plans.

Robinson intends to bring the DP up to full Authorised Testing Facility status.

Anyone wanting to book a test at the facility should call 01785 282187.
