Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

WITH EURO-4 and 5 engines likely to arrive earlier than expected (see page 58), at least one UK operation is ahead of the game in providing the urea solution needed by SCR engines.

J&H Bunn, an East Anglian purveyor of agricultural fertilisers, has an obvious link with urea production and plans to have a product available by the start of next year.

Adbloom will be produced in Middlesbrough; output is expected to equate to 75% of the anticipated demand for 80,000,000 litres next year.

Adbloom project manager John Fuller says that the initial market for urea will not be high enough to support a widespread roadside supply infrastructure. His answer is to provide Adbloom in 1,000-litre tanks direct to operators' depots.

A secure delivery system for urea solution is a condition of its official approval; Fuller plans to achieve this through Bunn's haulage subsidiary, Spandler Bros of Great Yarmouth. Spandler's 40-truck fleet is part of the UK Pallet network which will provide the logistics.

With a typical operation expected to consume 8-10 litres of urea per truck per day, there is also a need for stocks to be available away from home. To meet this need Adbloom will also be available in 10 and 20-litre top-up packs from retail outlets.

Cost is expected to be 35-40p/ lit when bought in 1,000-litre consignments.
