Back in 1972, we looked at British parcels carriers as customer We sent six parcels to Scotland, logged their progress and photographed their condition. Last week, we repeated the exercise. The Post Office, NCL, Roadline, Securicor, British Rai and Atlas Express should be interested in our findings and you will be able to make your assessment of their services, next we when we report the exercise.
We will be looking at parcels traffic documentation and then will be a guide to countrywide express carriers.
Bill Brock has been out on a parcels route test with a Mazda pick-up. His report is in next week's issue.
