AN order for another 270 single-deck buses
for the Copenhagen Municipal Transport Authority was announced by the Leyland Motor Corporation this week. The buses will be built from Leyland components at the Slikeborg factory of Dansk Automobil Byggeri, Leyland's Danish affiliate.
. Completed only 18 months ago, the modern factory employs more than 500 people. It is at present engaged in the construction of 300 similar buses for Copenhagen. The new buses will seat 44 passengers with room for 47 standees.
