THE main recommendations of the TRTA in its formal objection to loading and unloading bans on commercial vehicles by Edinburgh Corporation have been accepted. The report of the public inquiry, issued last week, confirms a half-hour reduction of the time covered by the morning bans, removes the Saturday bans and deletes part of the restrictions proposed for Portobello High Street.
In Scarborough, the Association is withdrawing its objections following changes by the Borough Council in the restrictions in Huntriss Row.
