Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

variable-height tilt A" outfits are being used on T1R work to and from the Continent by MAT Transport Ltd.. and are illustrated below.

On the left is a prototype Dyson lift-off unit just placed in service, and soon to be followed by production examples, which is carried on ferries and BR container ships. A very robust frame carries a dropside body with a fixed

steel headboard and an intermediate deck. This second deck is carried on removable hollow 4in. by 2in. Iongitudinals held in brackets which fit over the pillars carrying the superstructure.

Tunnels in the base of the body accommodate fork-lift arms, while four pull-out arms can be used for crane lifting.

The right-hand picture shows a new 30-tong.t.w. Pitt semi-trailer for MAT with a roof height which is readily adjustable between 71t. 6in. and 8ft. 6in., the tilt extending to accommodate this without the need for folding.

The trailer (seen here with Guy tractive unit) is 33ft. long and has a body built by Arterial Motors Ltd., a Marston Motors subsidiary. On the semi-trailer is a touring kit of spares, including a road spring.
