MR. C. BURGESS, secretary, and MR. P. B. TUNKS have joined the board of Seottorn, Ltd. Mr. Tunks is works director.

LAZENBY, who joined the organization in 1946, has been appointed agricultural sales manager. Ma. C. F. Ward has been appointed homes sales manager. MR. R. W. LmanitooKE, industrial sales manager, will continue to be in charge of sales of industrial tractors and ancillary equipment.

MR. G, A. DICKINS has been appointed assistant manager of the technical department of the Vacuum Oil Co., Ltd.. He was formerly superintendent of the company's central laboratories. MR. V. H. RUMBLE has been appointed superintendent of the central laboratories and will continue to direct the activities of the products division. MR. F. J. PaimaN and MR. P. E. B. VA1LE have been appointed assistant supervisors of the products division. MR. T. PATERSON, formerly supervisor of the lubricant and allied products section, central laboratories, has been transferred to the headquarters office.

MR. F. C. HADLEY, secretary of Birmingham Transport Department, is to retire. He has served the undertaking for 46 years. Recently he retired from the secretaryship of the Midland Area of the Municipal Passenger Transport Association, an important position in the industry which he had held since 1943.
