Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A quick-thinking lorry driver saved his £52,000 trac tive unit from going up in flames when his trailer-load of paper caught fire at a West Midlands motorway junction.

Driver Alex Bremner stopped on the hard shoul der at Junction 7 on the M6 last week after other drivers alerted him on the CB radio.

He coolly detached the tractor from the trailer and drove it away as the 4ft rolls of paper went up in flames.

Fire fighters took almost an hour to bring the blaze under control at Great Barr, near Birmingham.

Sub-officer George Smith of West Bromwich fire sta tion says: "It was a good job the driver acted so quickly— the fire left the trailer completely burnt out." Peter Whitelegg of

Bremner's employer,

Stockport-based hauliers RF Fielding (Cheshire), also praised the driver's initiative in acting so swiftly.
