I read with interest the letter from Trevor Pickering (CM, January 8). As we at Sitec are the main pre-release resettlement training centre for military students requiring vocational training in all transport subjects, it came as some surprise to us. We can only assume that Trevor went outside of the established Ministry of Defence system.
If he is willing to contact the Group Education Officer at Fulwood Barracks, Preston and prove his army service we will give him a course of hgv one or pm, one training at no charge. J. B. HUGHES Sitec Merseyside
