The new complex comprises 18,000sqft of chilled warehouse and 2,000sqft of normal tern. perature area which are servicec by 12 sealed loading bays. Thert is a parking area for 25 tractiv( units and trailers, a vehicIE wash, automatic fuellim systems, electric stand points and an office block for manage ment and clerical staff on site.
This is the third trans shipment centre that WCD ha; opened this year and complete its "chilled chain" concept. Eact new depot is strategically loca ted to cover a wide area.
