• The 300th signatory has just recently put his name to the Ford Motor Co Ltd Bodybuilders' Code, which came into operation only last September. All signatures by body makers and suppliers involve binding agreements to mount bodies and equipment in accordance with the stringent recommendations set out in Ford's body manual.
The agreements also give Ford the right to inspect tools, methods of working and complete vehicles to see that standards are being maintained.
