Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

II Pall-Ex founder and director Hilary Sharpies (above), says the network took action as soon as some other members made her aware of problems at SWF Distribution and subsequently at SWF Warehousing. She claims the franchise was taken from SWF Warehousing after Pall-Ex sent a team of accountants who decided that SWF represented "a potential threat of our brand name''.

Sharpies adds: "Once something impacts on our members we move very swiftly and mercilessly."

She says that she negotiated with Mark Waite and Brian Young on the first transfer of the franchise from Logicline Forwarding to PSW.

Philip Barnett and Anthony Lewis went to her with a proposal to acquire the franchise from PSW. On face value, says Sharpies, SWF seemed a good bet: One was a lawyer, one was a business entrepreneur. We perceived them as knowing what they were doing and they had the necessary finance.

"At the time, I couldn't get hold of Anthony Kiff; I thought he'd run off," she adds. Pall-Ex sent a letter confirming the termination of its franchise contract. Sharpies says she was "aware that there was some conflict" but "didn't want to become embroiled with it".
