David Handley, one the leaders of the fuel protests, denied obstructing the highway when he appeared before Stroud magistrates last Friday (9 February). Handley, chairman of Farmers For Action, was arrested outside the Dairy Crest creamery in Stonehouse. Clos on 2 February. He was bailed for trial on 4 April.
