QIs it now illegal for dealers to sell unroadworthy vehicles?
DR, Bolton AThere has always been legislation covering this point under the Sale of Goods Act. However, the Road Traffic Act 1988 is presently being amended, and a green paper called the Motor Trade (Consumer Protection) Bill will make it illegal for anyone to supply or offer to supply an unroadworthy vehicle.
