• Allied Lyons plans to windup its motor operations when it sells its seven remaining UK dealerships over the next few months.
This follows last week's management buyout of Normand Fleetways, the company's motor retail maintenance outlets.
The company says it wants to concentrate on manufacturing and selling food and drink, following the sale of its Iveco Ford truck dealerships at Swindon and Bedford, and its car outlets.
