• A new truck parts
business, Diesel Technic UK, has been set up by a former Scania executive and a West German parts distributor.
The Coventry-based company, which will supply new parts for Scanias in the UK and Eire, is headed by Bernard Hobbs, former training and development manager at the Scalia parts department.
Parent company, Germanbased DT Diesel Technic, already has branches in Italy, France and Holland.
The UK operation may be moving to Birmingham.
