Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Stan Robinson took his wife truck racing, which got him thinking about the future of Foden. He's also been talking to the minister about motorways...

A11 work and no play makes Stan a dull boy, so my wife and I decided to go to London for a few daysThe Sunday was the final round of the British Truck Racing Championships, and with Stuart Oliver on holiday it gave the likes of Steve Horne, Dave Jenkins, and Russ Ciarrant a chance of the title.

I talked the wife into getting up at 6am on Sunday morning to accompany me to Brands Hatch and watch the racing.

It was horrible weather but we both really enjoyed the racing. These men must leave their brain on the start line; they drive incredibly fast and incredibly close to each other.! surely don't want to see my drivers handling my wagons like that. At the start of the last race Steve and Dave were dead even on points with Russ four points behind. After about eight laps Russ was in front with Dave second, and Steve third so Dave had only got to finish second to become champion. But during the final lap Dave and Steve collided and both went off the track to leave Russ Garrett the champion.

Congratulations to Russ though in the last race he did his hest to tip the Foden over in the gravel trap. Congratulations to Foden too for producing the winning truck. It will be a sad day when we see the end of Foden: the end of British trucks as we know them now.

Bigger, heavier trucks have been turned down. I'm disappointed, but I'll continue to lobby for them.

Our local MP, David Kidney, invited Stephen Ladyman to Stafford to discuss the M6 widening or an M6 toll road, neither of which I agree with, and we were told that whatever happens we will not be running on it until 2017.

I suggested that he does a proper job and builds a new motorway from Warrington via Whitchurch toTelford and out onto the M5 at the junction with M42 that would give an alternative north-south route, bringing mid Wales onto the motorway network and relieving Birmingham of a lot of traffic. And it could be built by 2015. •
