Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

WEIGHT distribution is a common headache to all hauliers and I feel it unfair that only readers of the leading meat trades paper should know of the simple answer.

In a recent issue of the Meat Trades Journal, the motoring correspondent wrote up the new MAN 16-tonner, describing it as a "bodybuilder's delight". He warned, however, prospective customers to carefully choose the correct wheelbase and advise their bodybuilder whether the vehicle was to be purchased for maximum load single-drop application or multi-drop work "when the load gets lighter after each delivery, in which case a good body man can compensate for the differing conditions by shifting something heavy, like the spare wheel to even out the balance".

So now we know. As usual, the answer to the sticky

problem proves to be a delightfully simple one. Personally, I am in some doubt as to whether the "body man" is the coach builder or a Charles Atlas available on the roadside to do the heavy shifting in the event of the vehicle not carrying a spare wheel.
