Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

NORTHAMPTONSHIRE Police are trying to trace the driver of an articulated lorry which failed to stop after being involved in a fatal accident on an M1 link road earlier this month.

The lorry, known to have a red trailer chassis and green sideguard, is suspected of having attempted a U-turn while on the A5 link road near Junction 18 of the M1 at 4.30am on December 6.

It collided with a light blue Ford Fiesta, some paint from which was probably transferred on to the lorry which police believe must have suffered other damage. The driver of the car has since died from injuries sustained in the accident.

Police believe that the driver's employer would have noticed the damage to the lorry and are keen for anyone with information to contact the motorway and technical support unit at Mere Way Police Station, Northampton (phone 0604 62731).
