Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Colin Circuit

About two-and-a-half years ago, I nskip of Bedford and Bedfreight pooled their warehouse and transport resources. Inskip was founded almost 8o years ago and remains a family business to this day, offering secure warehouse facilities with order picking, packing and labelling services that go with its European distribution operation. The company's mixed fleet of some 30 vehicles includes MAN, Scania, Mercedes-Benz and ERF models from small vans to maximumweight artics. The latest additions to the fleet are two Iveco Cursor tractive units plated for operation at 41 tonnes.

"We have just the one 7.5-tonne Iveco Cargo. It is an R-reg 75E15 with the larger six-cylinder engine which was purchased before the take-over," general manager Colin Circuit told us. "It has a flat body which is ideal for us giving a payload of about 3.5 tonnes. We carry machinery for several local manufacturing companies and the flat body allows us to crane the loads on and off very easily. The truck runs all over the UK and is specified with a sleeper cab so that the driver can stay away for the occasional night. The driver is quite a big chap but he says that the cab is adequate for the job.

"So far the truck has covered just over 350,000 km and we will keep it for a while longer as long as it continues to

give good service.

I don't have the exact fuel consumption to hand but I can tell you that it has a big advantage on fuel compared to our 75tonne MAN that we run with a box body.

"We are gradually changing over to new livery which is an expensive exercise and the 7.5-tonne Cargo is still in the old livery It is easy to drive and we have had no major problems since it has been in our care.

"There are the run-of-the-mill service items that have been replaced, like roll bar bushes, and it has had a handbrake valve. The disc brakes are fine but we did have a pressure warning light come on a couple of weeks ago. The local dealer said it was contaminated hydraulic oil. That's been replaced and it's been OK since.

"Our local dealer, Stormont at Northampton, is OK. We have a tyre contract with Kingsway which checks the fleet on a regular basis but the 75Er5o doesn't have any tyre problems."
