• Kent-based haulier Frederick Stanton was remanded on bail at Sheerness magistrates last week after being charged with drugs smuggling.
Stanton, of Scrapsgate Road, Minster, Kent, is accused of smuggling 150kg of cannabis on the flushing to Sheerness ferry on 27 July.
No trial date has been set.
