Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• This unusual recipient of the three-pointed star is one of the 24 "Service Tunnel Transport System" vehicles being supplied by Mercedes-Benz for use in the Channel Tunnel. The units are bi-directional with a cab at both ends, and will use the 4.8mdiameter service tunnel in which an electronic guidance system takes over from the manual steering.

Each vehicle has two 62kW (84hp) diesel engines which drive through automatic transmissions; both axles are steered. The space between the cabs takes a variety of modules for maintenance or emergency duties. They were built at M-B's Swiss subsidiary NAW to a design by AEG.
