NEW regulations for the riage of dangerous substa by road tankers and in tank tainers will take effect from uary 1 next year, Trans Secretary Norman Fowler nounced this week.
The regulations, which in porate existing legislation, h been drawn up by the He and Safety Commission and elude such new provisions the extension of labelling to c tainers of over 3cum.
Two other sets of regulati one for smaller quantities substances and one for pack ing and labelling, are still be prepared and will be introdu at a later date.
