NEW clearance depot has been set up at Cadenazzo by Sviluppo Traffici Internazional. The depot will provide a great impetus to expedite and develop containerized traffic by road and rail to and from the Mediterranean. In particular it will link up with the new Swiss "Autoroute" serving Northern Italy and Eastern Europe.
Cargo will come straight from ships at Genoa and other ports for sorting and clearance at the depot.
