Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE Transport Ferry Service has placed an

order with Swan Hunter and Wigharn Richardson for a new roll-on/roll-off ship which will come into service in the late autumn of 1967.

Mr. M. K. Bustard, TES general manager, said last week that the unprecedented success of the Felixstowe-Rotterdam service which started last July had proved that larger and faster ferry ships would be necessary to cope with the greatly increased traffic expected in coming years.

As exclusively forecast in COMMERCIAL MOTOR (March 4) the new ship will operate an express service from Felixstowe into a new TFS terminal to be built at Europoort, Rotterdam. She will have space for 100 road vehicles or 10-metre TM trailers, and there will be accommodation for 30-40 drivers/passengers. Special provision is also being made for carrying container traffic.

The ship's design will enable her to turn round every day, providing six round voyages a week to Europe.. Cost of the ship, said to be largest of its kind for purely commercial traffic, will be almost £2m.
