The super-Swede powers its way into the nomination list with a mindboggling 660hp under its cab. The FH range remains popular with operators around Europe and any enhancement to the line-up will ensure it gets a nomination for the top truck award. But with changes to the rest of the truck kept to a minimum, it's difficult to make a strong case for Volvo's super truck.
VERDICT It's got the horses, but we doubt whether it will get the votes necessary for a top-three ranking.
