• Volvo has produced its 1,000th truck in Poland since production from knock-down kits began in November 1993.
• August registrations of Mitsubishi's light commercials were up 105% on last year's figure, helped by the 1200 with 189 units registered this August against 41 last year when supplies were limited. Sales of the L300 rose from 123 to 148. On 1 September all Mitsubishi list prices rose by 1.5%.
