Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The first TIR body produced by Collen (Transport Designs) Ltd has been delivered to Alfred Manchester and Sons Ltd for use on a UK /France run. It is fitted with aluminium dropsides and the roof is constructed of lightweight detachable gates fitted transversely between the header rails. The manufacturer claims that this roof construction stabilizes the body frame.

The bodies are being produced in kit form and supplied to trailer manufacturers. The company claims that they can be fitted to a chassis in less than four hours.

Mr L. Collen, the body designer, told CM that he was working to a maximum tolerance of less than kin. on the kits. It has also been announced this week that the company has been appointed sole UK agent for tilts manufactured by C. J. Keeren B.V. Holland. The tilts are fabricated in 520 pvc polyester and they are available in 25 colours. Collen (Transport Designs) Ltd is located at Capstone Road, Gillingham, Kent.
