• A one-day seminar on Planning for Tachographs is being run by the Freight Transport Association on October 18. It will be held at London's Hilton Hotel and the fee for FTA members is £12 (non-members, £17).
Speakers at the seminar will include Mr R. J. E. Dawson, assistant secretary of the DoE's road freight division, Mr K. Jackson, Transport and General Workers' Union, and senior staff members from Smiths Industries Ltd and Lucas Kienzle Ltd.
