• Cargo European Ltd, in conjunction with its partner in Western Germany, Bernhard Klein-Wiele. is expanding its express driver accompanied groupage service between the UK and Western Germany in order to compete with the air freight industry.
Departures to Bocholt from three of Cargo European's depots — London, Birmingham and Manchester — now take place daily from Tuesday through to Friday inclusive, and departures from Bocholt to London, Birmingham and Manchester on Sunday through to Thursday inclusive.
A further /250,000 worth of Bussing truck and drawbar equipment is being bought.
Cargo European says its service has been growing since British membership of the EEC; through its partners, it can offer a total distribution service throughout West Germany.
