E)ESULTS of the 1961/62 Pul I' Service and Commercial Vehi Body Design Competition, sponsored the Institute of British Carriage Automobile Manufacturers have 131 announced. Winner of the first cc petition for a G.A. drawing of a shill deck, 36-ft.-long by 8-ft. 21-in.-w luxury Continental touring coach Mr. A. F. Darby, of LoughborOu Leics, who was awarded £100 and Worshipful Company's medal and cc ficate. Second prize was not award but joint third prize-winners were W. R. Almond, of Birmingham, and C. Wilmington, of Paisley, who ei received £37 10s. and ei medal and ceri cate. Fourth prize was not awarded, Mr. D. Bradshaw, of Nottingham, N commended..

In the second competition for a G drawing of a metal-framed aluminiu alloy double-compartment refrigera body, designed as a semi-trailer w integral running gear, first, second, th and fourth prizes were not awarded, I an ex gratiu award of £50 went to I R. H. D. Acott, of Basildon, Essex.

Winner of the third competition for outline drawing of retail sales ice crc body mounted on a forward-cont chassis of 10-cwt. capacity, was Mr. R. Young, of Kingsbury, London, N.% who received £30 and the Institui certificate. Second, third and fou prizes were not awarded.
