Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A LL-STEEL-BODIED delivery vans r-1 based on B.M.C. 1.5and 2-ton forward-control chassis have been developed by H. C. B. Engineering, Ltd., Totton, Southampton. The body layout is such as to provide minimum obstruction between the driving seat and the kerb-side doorway, and the standard body for both chassis has a capacity of 350 cu. ft. The design is known as the Multi Stop Thruway Van and is of all

welded construction, the body assembly comprising side, roof and floor sections plus four doors and special plastics parts for fitting to the front scuttle.

There are seven cross-bearers, along the tops of which run top-hat longitudinals which have the softwood floorboards laid between them. The sides are based on 2-section framing members, with the exterior panels pop-riveted in position, and the roof is a spot-welded

assembly with plastics front and t canopies. Sliding doors are stanch these enclosing 2-ft. 6-in.-wide entrar with 6 ft. of headroom, and the cntra steps are only 15.5 in. above ground It in the laden position. The rear de have outrigged hinges so that they n be folded back against the body sides.

Based on 9-ft. 6-in.-wheelbase cha. the new van has an overall length 17 ft. 1,5 in. and an overall width 6 ft. 11.75 in. The interior body len is 11 ft. 6 in. and the width 6 ft. 1 the interior height being 5 ft. 9 in. the loading height 2 ft. 6 in. The Ili weighs approximately 12.5 cwt.
